Chantal Benet graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus with a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics and a Juris Doctor from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. She began her tenure in Inteligencia Económica as an intern while a member of the Asociación de Estudiantes de Economía de Ciencias Sociales. Once graduated she started a full-time job in Banco Popular as a mortgage analyst and moved on to a Retail Branch Analyst in Oriental Bank. During that time she continued working in specific jobs with Inteligencia Económica where she integrated full time in 2017. 

Currently, she oversees the operations of the office and is Senior Economist. She led research and analyze economic issues conducting surveys and collecting data. She has analyzed data using mathematical models and statistical techniques. She assessed businesses, governments, and individuals on economic topics.
